which are similar to bearer cheques. For converting the TCs into
the local currency of the country you are visiting, you just need
to go to the encashment counter and convert. We sell all international
brands of Travellers Cheques viz. American Express, Thomas Cook
Master Card, Interpayment Visa and are available in the following

WHERE TO I SIGN TRAVELERS CHEQUES ?
Travelers Cheques must be signed as indicated below in order to be
reimbursable if lost or stolen. They should be signed as soon as possible
after purchase. When the Cheques are cashed, make sure that a cashier
watches you countersign them

| You must not countersign any traveler cheques, until at the time
of encashment in the presence of the Acceptor.
· Your Travelers Cheques are valuable, safeguard them against loss
or theft as you would for a similar amount of your cash.
· When encashing your travelers cheques, please be prepared to
show your passport or some similar proof of identity and / or your
sales advice as proof of purchase.
· Always keep your copy of the sales advice in a safe place, but
separate from your Travelers cheques.
Acceptance of Travelers Cheques, is based on the merchant watching
the customer sign the Cheque and then comparing that signature with
the original signature. The merchant will observe the customer signing
the Cheque. If the signatures are a reasonable match, the Cheque would
be accepted. As always, if the merchant is unsure, they would call
the issuer with any concerns.
IN CASE OF LOSS OR THEFT OF TRAVELLERS CHEQUES
If your Travelers Cheques are lost or stolen, they can be replaced
worldwide usually within 24 hours. Please ensure that you have complied
with all of our terms and conditions, including signing all of your
Cheques and keeping track of the serial numbers purchased.
In case of lost or stolen cheques, please be sure to call the Issuer
of Travellers Cheques e.g., American Express, Thomas Cook or Visa
Travellers Cheques, as soon as possible at numbers mentioned below.
Service centers handle claims for lost or stolen Cheques 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week. Inform the local police within 24 hours and
obtain a FIR.

REFUND FOR THE LOST TRAVELLERS CHEQUES?
If your Travellers Cheques are lost or stolen, the issuer will refund
their face value provided
Before Loss:
· You have signed each cheque at the place marked "Signature of
the Holder" in non-erasable ink immediately upon receipt, but have
not countersigned any of them.
· You have safeguarded each cheque against loss or theft as you
would a similar amount of your own cash.
· You have not parted with the cheques voluntarily or as collateral
security.
After Loss:
· You notify the issuer within 24 hours of the loss or theft of
your cheques, and the local police reporting the circumstances of
the loss or theft in such details as may be reasonably required
and obtain a FIR.
· You supply the Purchaser's receipt copy of the sales advice (PAF),
as well as acceptable proof of your identity, when making your refund
claim.
· You complete the appropriate refund claim documents to reasonable
satisfaction and sign them in good faith.

· You agree to co-operate in the investigation of the loss or theft,
and in any resulting prosecution.
However the issuer reserves the right to delay refunds during investigation
of the loss or theft and will not be liable for any loss or expense
caused by such delay. In addition, your cheques will not be refunded
by the Issuer if they have been seized or confiscated by the state,
government, customs, revenue, police, military or other such officials
or personnel.
